Remote wilderness areas provide a variety of wildlife and landscape ideas
for painter Terry Palm. The artist spends most research time on the
Vermilion River in northern Minnesota, the Black Hills of South Dakota and
the back country of Montana. He maintains workspace at his home near the
Boundary Waters at Buyck, Minnesota and at Robbinsdale in the Twin Cities.

He paints on-site at the Northland
Inn in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. His
newest originals hang in the Convention Center and Restaurant available
for sale. His original watercolors have been honored with awards from
Minnesota Wildlife Heritage, Geese International, National Wildlife
Federation, Western Artists Association, and  Roughrider International.

Palm will open a new studio/gallery in Aitkin, Minnesota this summer. His
work is also available at regional galleries including Walk In The Woods of
Custer, SD; Wall Drug’s Western Art Gallery; The Human Touch of Cook,
MN; the Orr, MN General Store; and the Kah-Nee-Tah Gallery in Lutsen, MN.

Each December, he has a one-man painting exhibit and sale at Davidson
Design in Billings, Montana.  2010 will be the 32nd annual event.

Palm was the July 2009 Artist in Residence at Sylvan Lodge in Custer State
Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Although  more than 40 of his paintings have been printed in limited edition,
Palm concentrates on providing good and affordable originals.
